कुछ वर्षों बाद, सूरज डाकू हल्कन सिंह के चंगुल से किसी तरह भाग निकला। भागने के बाद उसकी मुलाकात तीन ऐसे लोगों से हुई, जिन्होंने उसकी ज़िंदगी बदल दी — हकीम अली, बॉक्सिंग के माहिर धनिया खान, और सटीक निशानेबाज़ कालीमिर्ची खान। इन सभी के साथ-साथ अदरक चाचा ने भी उसे कठोर प्रशिक्षण दिया और सूरज को इंसान नहीं, बल्कि एक हथियार बना दिया।
समाज की सड़ांध, अन्याय और हिंसा को देखकर सूरज ने खुद को डोगा घोषित किया — एक ऐसा नायक जो मास्क पहनकर कानून से परे रहकर न्याय करता है। न वह दया करता है, न माफ़ करता है — वह अपराध का खात्मा करना ही अपना धर्म मानता है।
अन्य सुपरहीरोज़ की तरह डोगा के पास कोई सुपरपावर नहीं है। उसकी एकमात्र विशेष शक्ति यह है कि वह कुत्तों से संवाद कर सकता है और उनसे सूचनाएँ इकट्ठा करता है। वह पूरी तरह अपने शारीरिक बल, गजब की स्टैमिना, और मार्शल आर्ट्स व बॉक्सिंग में निपुणता पर निर्भर करता है।
“Main Hun Doga” was the third comic in which the fearsome and mysterious character Doga further evolved. His real name was Suraj — an unfortunate boy who lost his parents when he was just an infant. A criminal murdered his family and took the young child with him, treating him cruelly, like an animal — like a dog.
Years later, Suraj managed to escape from the clutches of dacoit Halkan Singh. After his escape, his life changed when he met three men who would shape his destiny — Hakeem Ali, boxing expert Dhania Khan, and sharpshooter Kalimirchi Khan. Along with them, Adrak Chacha also trained him intensely, forging him into a living weapon.
Witnessing the filth, corruption, and violence of society at a young age, Suraj decided to become Doga — a masked vigilante who operates outside the law and delivers his own form of justice. He is merciless, unforgiving, and completely dedicated to eradicating crime.
Unlike typical superheroes, Doga doesn’t have any supernatural powers. His only unique ability is that he can communicate with dogs, using them to gather information. His real strength lies in his incredible stamina, raw physical power, and expert-level skills in martial arts and boxing.
